Join Eels in the Classroom!

Eels in the Classroom will begin its fifth year at the start of the 2024-2025 school year. We are always looking for interested participants, particularly enthusiastic teachers with previous experience keeping fish in aquaria and preferably those teachers who have an existing tank setup (10-gal minimum). If you’re a public educator residing in the Pennsylvania or Maryland portion of the Susquehanna River Basin and are interested in participating, please reach out using the dialogue box below. We are currently working on expanding the program into New York and will update this page when we are able to accommodate those schools. If you are an interested NY classroom, please contact us to be put on a list to be the first to know when NY is eligible. Please note that the number of schools we can support is determined by resource availability, so SRBC cannot guarantee participation to all who are interested.
