Stream & Watershed Enhancement Grant Program

SRBC announced the second round of its Stream & Watershed Enhancement Grant Program via press release on August 5, 2024. The grant application opens August 7th, 2024 and closes October 31st, 2024.

SRBC is pleased to announce the second year of its Stream & Watershed Enhancement Grant Program to support local organizations dedicated to the health and wellness of our Basin’s waterways. The Stream & Watershed Enhancement Grant program will provide funding for community-based environmental and water resources projects or events that improve, restore or protect our local watersheds. Please review the Stream & Watershed Enhancement Grant Guidelines document for eligibility and example projects. Eligible projects that offer an intersection between watershed support and engagement with Environmental Justice areas will be prioritized.

In its first year, the Commission awarded more than $150,000 to 34 projects.

Webinar

SRBC conducted a webinar to introduce the program and outline the application process on August 21, 2024. On October 16, 2024 SRBC conducted a second a webinar designed to take application and technical questions nearer the grant application due date.
