Public hearings are noticed on the Commission’s website in accordance with 18 CFR sec. 808.1(c), at least 20 days prior to the hearing.
Notice of October 29, 2025 Public Hearing
For rulemakings, pursuant to section 808.1(c), hearing notices need only be forwarded to…the New York Register, the Pennsylvania Bulletin, the Maryland Register, and the Federal Register, and it is sufficient that this notice appear in the Federal Register at least 20 days prior to the hearing. A list of items proposed for consideration is provided with the notice and also posted on the Commission’s website. Public comment is accepted at the hearings in the form of in-person or telephonic testimony. For the sake of convenience and efficiency, the Commission requests that interested parties register to provide public comment in advance of the hearing. Written comments are accepted up to ten (10) days after the date of the hearing.
